We are seeking a Senior Analyst Manufacturing to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will lead initiatives of diverse scope and complexity to improve systems and processes for our manufacturing operations to maximize productivity across assets and drive out system losses, leveraging Integrated Work Systems.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives
    :
    Drive the growth and implementation of Integrated Work Systems (IWS), participate in continuous improvement teams, and lead projects based on business needs.
  • Analytics Support
    :
    Lead the analytics efforts to drive out waste and other losses at the site, while providing analytical insights to support business efforts and improve existing processes. Track and report performance against established metrics.
  • Data Management & Utilization
    :
    Build and manage information resources. Develop a deep understanding of the Line Event Data System and utilize available data effectively (e.g. determining trends, formulating forecasts, generating plans, etc).
  • Special Projects
    :
    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to lead special projects aimed at reducing operational losses and improving financial reporting.
  • Training and Coaching
    :
    Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance operational capabilities throughout the site, especially focusing on supporting our line analysts.
  • Digital System Expertise
    :
    Act as a super user for the digital daily management system, maintaining metrics, managing system upgrades, and building advanced capabilities. Use databases, computer systems, and reporting tools to develop and update infrastructure needed to support manufacturing initiatives.
  • Reporting and Recommendations
    :
    Generate reports and provide data‑driven insights to guide strategic and operational decisions for senior management.
What we want you to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Business. Preferred 3‑5 years related experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written presentation skills, as well as proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated manufacturing process expertise and problem‑solving skills to identify, develop, and lead implementation of projects or initiatives to drive out loss.
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office systems and working knowledge of manufacturing systems preferred – SAP, Traksys, Trouble Call, Work Brain, etc.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, and ability to apply complex and interrelated procedures consistently and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize work requirements, solve problems, facilitate business change, and drive process improvements. Possess a demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing budgets and reporting, with some level of financial acumen.
  • Familiarity with principles/concepts of Quality Systems/Lean Principles/Continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing. Prior knowledge of IWS preferred.
  • Ability to perform duties that would be reasonably expected in a manufacturing environment including (but not limited to) bending, standing, lifting, twisting, and kneeling. May be exposed to one of the following elements: extremes of temperature, fumes, odors, dust, and loud noise. Ability to work in excess of normally scheduled work week and on different shifts are an essential function of this position.
