Senior DevOps Engineer; AWS Infrastructure, Multiplayer Game Studio

Overview

We’re looking for a senior Dev Ops engineer to strengthen the backbone of our multiplayer sci-fi strategy game, Two Robots:
Unleashed. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling the infrastructure that keeps matches running smoothly, players connected, and our team unblocked.

This is a key role in a small but ambitious studio — if you thrive on solving hard problems, love automation, and care about making online games reliable, we want to talk.

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiplayer services.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment stability.
• Oversee backend reliability: logging, monitoring, and scaling.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate backend services with gameplay features.
• Optimize for uptime and cost efficiency as the player base grows.
• Support internal documentation to ensure knowledge is shared and sustainable.

• Experienced Dev Ops engineer with deep knowledge of AWS (ECS, S3, Cloud Formation, IAM, etc.).
• Strong skills in automation, containerization, and CI/CD best practices.
• Comfortable building systems to support online multiplayer games.
• Collaborative communicator who thrives in small, fast-moving teams.

• Know Golang, NestJS, or NextJS.
• Have worked with AI/ML tools on AWS.
• Are passionate about multiplayer video games and understand what makes them tick.

• Help define the infrastructure for a competitive multiplayer game.
• Be part of an original sci-fi IP with tactical depth and community-driven development.
• Small, remote-friendly indie team with maximum impact.
• Visibility into studio growth — as we pivot toward a merit-based system, contributors are recognized for what they deliver.
