Responsibilities- Supervise associates, optimize staff efficiencies, and ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
- Spearhead initiatives to improve warehouse functions and participate in Quality Management System processes.
- Lead Corrective Actions and Preventive Action investigations, author warehouse processes, and maintain operational standards.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement and success of our distribution services.
- Maintain attention to detail, uphold safety regulations, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation at our Richmond, Virginia location.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in WMS and QMS systems.
- Knowledge of ISO regulatory requirements and Hazmat procedures; experience with material handling equipment is valuable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially creating and analyzing operational reports in Excel.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds and obtain a Riverside Operator’s License within 30 days of employment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in a customer-focused environment.
- Operates with general knowledge of Hazmat rules and procedures as they pertain to warehouse operations.
- Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and the ability to create and analyze operational reports in Excel.
- Experience with WMS & QMS systems and three to five years in warehouse supervision.
