Warehouse Manager at Truck Pro LLC summary:

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations for a heavy-duty truck parts distributor, including supervising picking, packing, receiving, shipping, inventory control, returns, and safety compliance. Recruit, train, schedule, coach and evaluate warehouse staff while controlling operating expenses and coordinating shipments between stores, customers, and manufacturers. Requires 5+ years warehouse experience, 3–5 years supervisory experience, forklift operation, ability to lift 75+ lbs., and a valid driver’s license.

Truck Pro is seeking a Warehouse Manager who is responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operations to include planning and directing warehouse activities and shipments.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Leads the warehouse team in areas such as picking, packing, receiving, shipping, etc.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning associates, following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Processes customer orders
  • Manages inventory control activities, including physical and cycle counts
  • Assists with direction and assistance in the solution of problems that arise with customers or associates
  • Tracks general expenses while maintaining operating costs
  • Organizes and coordinates shipments to customers and/or other stores
  • Oversees the physical handling of the return of parts to the store and the return of parts to the manufacturer
  • Implements and successfully promotes a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment, and inventory
  • Promotes safety standards to comply with company policy
  • Monitors and reconcile cores
  • Perform other duties as needed

Successful Warehouse Manager Candidates Will Have:

  • 5 years of warehouse operations experience
  • 3-5 years of management or team lead experience
  • Heavy duty truck parts or automotive parts knowledge/experience
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required
  • Ability to operate power industrial equipment (fork lifts, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs.
  • Customer Service (professional, and a helpful attitude)
  • Excellent communication (oral & written)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
