Overview
Corpay is seeking a strategic, business-minded Principal Program Manager within our Corporate Payments division to develop and own the strategic and tactical program of implementing our largest enterprise clients. This role will manage complex, high-value deals requiring effective collaboration and engagement with Corpay and client executives, key stakeholders, and project teams. The role will deliver successful project outcomes and high customer satisfaction, actively manage issues and risks to a satisfactory conclusion, and ensure timely escalation to enable senior management to gain insight and review.
Program and project management expertise is required to lead and manage large, complex implementations and upgrades, and to facilitate preparation and handoff to long-term support.
This position is based out of Brentwood, TN, or Richmond, VA, and will require travel to client sites for strategic meetings and project oversight. This role reports to the Senior Director of Implementations.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:
- Project Management:
Leading planning (discovery, dependency identification, risk management, coordination of resources), owning creation of program plan in project planning tools, and maintaining ongoing ownership and accountability for strategy and execution. - Collating and managing the Corpay cross-functional project plan (e.g., Vendor Enrollment, Integrations, Product, Client Success/Service Delivery) and ensuring on-schedule delivery.
- Knowledge of different project management methodologies to deliver each client project with the best execution approach.
- Consultative & Solution Oriented:
Acting as a trusted advisor who can review, document, and interpret a range of client requirements; managing project scope and client expectations; leveraging statements of work, client needs, current solution capabilities, and internal cross-functional perspectives.
- Executive Presence:
Demonstrating executive presence with the ability to work at both executive and team levels and adapting communication to multiple audiences; excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels and with clients and third parties.
- Process Design & Documentation:
Building out enterprise implementations as a program with documentation and templates to enable scale over time.
- Strategic Relationships:
Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to manage current and future client implementations; acting as a client advocate for top-tier clients in terms of Support, Relationship Management, and Product capabilities.
- 4-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, or related functions with demonstrated ownership of project planning, materials, and risk mitigation
- PMP or project management accreditation
- Direct experience in SaaS professional services, implementation, or product delivery
- Travel flexibility: able to travel as needed for client engagements – generally 25-30%
- ERP integration experience with systems such as Net Suite, Sage, Microsoft Business Central, Acumatica, Blackbaud, and Vista
