We are supporting a confidential search for a Production/Operations Leader responsible for overseeing 24/7 manufacturing and site support services. This role provides full ownership of site performance across safety, quality, reliability, productivity, cost control, and employee engagement, while leading and developing a high-performing operations team.
About the Role- Lead, coach, and develop the site Operations team, fostering strong engagement, accountability, and operational excellence
- Own site operational outcomes across stewardship, quality, reliability, people engagement, productivity, and cost management
- Drive continuous improvement through disciplined operating processes and flawless day-to-day execution
- Serve as an active member of the Site Leadership Team, partnering cross-functionally with Maintenance, Technical, Supply & Operations Planning, Capital, and Contractors
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible work environment
- Champion operational learning, stewardship programs, and issue resolution initiatives
- Monitor site performance and communicate results to internal stakeholders
- Lead annual operating budget planning with significant input into capital planning
- Interface with regulatory agencies and ensure ongoing compliance
- Maintain a well-trained, capable workforce aligned to high standards and expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong technical, analytical, and organizational capabilities
- Proven ability to quickly assess new situations and drive effective action
- Demonstrated people leadership with a track record of developing talent and leading change
- High integrity with sound judgment and the ability to make decisive decisions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
- Collaborative, self-aware leader with a high sense of ownership and initiative
