Senior Infrastructure Project Manager - Richmond, VA

Job Summary

The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager position focuses on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, fire protection, and building envelope projects. Responsible for maintaining budgetary guidelines and resources.

Responsibilities
  • Assist project group director with developing project scope and budget
  • Work with project group director to develop consultant scope of work documents
  • Prepare and issue RFPs/Bid Packages to consultants and contractors
  • Work with project group director to perform bid reviews and select vendors
  • Facilitate the execution of contracts between vendors and Owner, including familiarizing with contract terms and conditions
  • Manage all pre‑construction activities including studies, testing, cost estimating & design
  • Perform technical reviews of design to ensure quality, maintainability and that scope is consistent with approved budget
  • Ensure all vendors are prequalified for safety, financial history and technical qualifications
  • Prepare and process all necessary documentation for PO’s & CO’s
  • Maintain project tracking reports for RFIs & submittals
  • Supervise construction sites for adherence to contract scope & safe construction practices
  • Coordinate construction activities between PM, plant personnel and contractors
  • Coordinate temporary construction utilities
  • Hold and lead construction and design progress review meetings
  • Manage and track all financial aspects of projects including budgets, commitments and actuals
  • Facilitate internal construction permits: PCRA, ICRA, ILSM, Above Ceiling, Hot Work and enforce requirements
  • Retain the services of expeditors and special inspection agencies and ensure that all inspections are performed
  • Maintain required signage at construction site, including DOB permits
  • Maintain and track construction observation punch lists
  • Collect all close‑out documentation including O&M's, spare parts lists and warranties

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or a minimum of four (4) years experience in project management or related field preferred
