Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Facility Maintenance

Overview

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company for the real world. We use computer vision to enable checkout‑free parking experiences. So there’s no fumbling with tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards. You just “drive in and drive out.”

• Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor.
• Make multiple rounds daily to pick up and discard trash and debris.
• Empty all trash receptacles inside and out, including offices.
• Note and report burned out light bulbs and any malfunctions of equipment.
• Clean all spills.
• Submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
• Follow OSHA rules and regulations.
• Clean all restrooms.
• Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
• Maintain a daily janitorial service sheet.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment, as applicable.
• Shovel and clean snow from entrance or exit ramps and designated areas.
• Report any violations of company policy, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager timely.
• Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and the Five Customer Service Behaviors.
• Assist customers or as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
• Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor aid.
• Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive complete in uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience or training in facility maintenance, electrical, painting, or related skills may be required.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license if required for company vehicle use.
• Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service orientation, maintaining a positive attitude and responding to requests.
• Adaptability to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Sound judgment and ability to work under pressure.
• English language proficiency for reading, writing, and interpreting.
• Physical ability to use hands/fingers, sit, stand, walk, lift and move 50 lbs or more regularly, and work in extreme weather conditions.

Pay rate: $16.16 per hour.
