Facilities Supervisor (Buildings and Grounds)
Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) located in Lynchburg, Virginia seeks a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of campus buildings, grounds, and related facilities. The position supports a busy two‑year institution with approximately 5,000 students in technical and transfer programs.
- Plan, organize, and perform maintenance and repairs for college campus buildings and grounds.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to in‑house trades/operations staff, outside contractors and vendors on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues.
- Respond to work orders and emergency calls, performing occasional hands‑on tasks as needed.
- Maintain records, issue work orders, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and manage material cost and inventory.
- Supervise multiple building trade technicians and the Grounds Supervisor and their teams. PREFIRING VOLUME>
