Overview
Trustpoint has an immediate opening as an eDiscovery Paralegal for a contract-to-hire role supporting plaintiff data intake processes across complex MDL matters for a Richmond-based law firm client. This position plays a critical role in improving portal functionality, user experience, and data integrity through intake template development, user acceptance testing, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid (Wednesdays in office), full-time (8:30am-5pm) position.
- Develop, maintain, and improve plaintiff data intake templates, forms, and workflows for MDL matters
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing for intake forms and templates
- Evaluate and implement effective data intake solutions in alignment with program leadership
- Assign and oversee template development and testing by QA team members as needed
- Collaborate with attorneys, analysts, and programmers to ensure accurate data capture and database functionality
- Identify and implement quality control measures through reporting and manual data checks
- Synthesize data from multiple databases and Excel files for reporting and special projects
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, external counsel, clients, and vendors
- Manage short- and long-term projects while meeting time-sensitive deadlines
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Paralegal Certificate preferred - 3+ years of relevant experience in a legal environment; experience with project/program management, large scale eDiscovery document review, or legal software management strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience working with databases and data-driven workflows
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and quick learner with a growth mindset
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform extended keyboard and mouse use
- Occasional lifting of 11–25 lbs
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
