The Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) organization is committed to fueling the courageous entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of America’s business owners. We offer financial products and services for small business owners through corporate clients, with the goal to pave the path for them to do more business. We’ve built an organization that focuses on listening to and learning from the millions of customers we serve to ensure our products, services, and experiences work as hard as they do.

The Expense Management team helps small business owners run their businesses more efficiently by delivering a best-in-class, automated solution for tracking, managing, and reconciling expenses. Our product combines modern digital capabilities and AI-driven automation to reduce manual work, surface meaningful spending insights, and give business owners greater control over how money moves through their business.

As a Manager, Product Management, you will turn customer and market insights into clear product strategy and technical requirements, partnering closely with design, engineering, and data teams to deliver experiences that scale, deepen customer engagement, and strengthen long-term relationships with our business customers.

Responsibilities
  • Turn customer and market insights into product strategy and clear technical requirements.
  • Partner with design, engineering, and data teams to deliver scalable experiences.
  • Drive initiatives that deepen customer engagement and strengthen long-term business relationships.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Capital One’s Product Framework across five areas:
    Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reimagine and innovate product solutions.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following with the expectation that the degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products

Compensation and Benefits

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Details by location:

  • McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100
  • New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100
  • Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000
  • Other locations: pay range as per location; actual offer reflects the location’s range

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
