Peoplesoft Functional Consultant

Our client, a large enterprise organization undergoing a major ERP transformation, is seeking experienced People Soft Financials Business Analysts to support and maintain their existing People Soft Financial Management (FSCM) environment during a multi-year transition to a new ERP platform. This role is strictly focused on the Financials side of People Soft (FSCM) and does not involve Human Capital Management (HCM).

Due to the ongoing ERP implementation, internal resources are heavily aligned to the new platform, creating a need for strong People Soft functional experts to ensure stability, support, and continuity across core financial modules.

The organization is in the early stages of a large-scale ERP migration and still relies heavily on People Soft Financials for day-to-day financial operations. This role will support legacy People Soft systems while the new ERP system is being implemented, making it a critical bridge position between current-state operations and future-state transformation.

• Provide functional support for People Soft Financials (FSCM) modules in a live production environment
• Partner with finance and procurement stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
• Support system maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution across financial modules
• Assist with testing, documentation, and operational continuity during the ERP transition
• Troubleshoot functional issues related to financial processes and system workflows
• Collaborate with technical teams, finance teams, and project stakeholders
• Ensure ongoing stability of legacy People Soft systems while implementation efforts are underway

• 5+ years of experience supporting People Soft Financials (FSCM)
• Strong functional expertise in:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in ERP environments
• Experience supporting enterprise financial systems in production
• Ability to translate business needs into functional system solutions
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, particularly with finance teams

• Experience in large enterprise or public sector environments
