You will play a critical role in ensuring that technology controls supporting enterprise-wide processes comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. You will execute daily technology risk and control governance activities ("core services") while partnering across the organization to design and implement strategic, modern risk management solutions that strengthen operational stability and regulatory readiness.
Primary Responsibilities:- Ensure assigned Technology controls operate effectively and align with the intended design.
- Oversee control performance, adherence to policies/standards, and provide risk advisory support for the assigned control portfolio.
- Consult on and challenge control design to strengthen effectiveness and sustainability.
- Support maintenance of internal and external audit-ready controls and documentation.
- Conduct independent, pre-audit management assessments to evaluate the sufficiency of first-line technology controls.
- Validate process execution, identify gaps, and prepare teams for formal testing and SOX evaluations.
- Evaluate potential control issues and provide expert consultation and effective challenge.
- Develop, track, and drive remediation plans through successful issue closure.
- Identify opportunities to optimize technology risk and control processes.
- Lead or contribute to improvement initiatives using Agile methodologies or the standard SDLC.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of Risk Management experience
- 4+ years of experience in Information Systems Risk Management, IT Audit, or Compliance
- 4+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional risk initiatives
- 3+ years of experience implementing industry risk frameworks and performing quantitative risk analysis
- 3+ years of experience with COSO methodology
- 3+ years of experience with SOX compliance
- 3+ years of experience with Risk Controls and Process Management
- 2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, or Databricks
- Relevant certifications: PMP, CPM, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSOX, CSOXP, CSOXM, or AWS Cloud certifications
