This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond or Lynchburg, VA Hybrid in-office applicants or remote applicants residing in states/locations under Eastern or Central Standard Time:

YOUR ROLE

As an IT team member, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions that are the foundation of the world class customer service that our customers expect and deserve – now and in the future.

What you will be doing
  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of Service Now products, custom applications, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Service Now workflows, flow, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, service portals, work spaces, and integrations with external systems.
  • Ensure Service Now platform stability, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Ensure architectural standards, best practices, and governance are followed for Service Now implementations.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development within the team.
  • Perform code reviews, quality assurance, and testing of products and features.
  • Stay current with Service Now releases, features, and industry trends to proactively recommend improvements to Service Now.
  • Document technical solutions, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Service Now development and architecture.
  • Expertise in Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, WSD, EC Pro, EA, PPM and/or Agile 2.0.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing Service Now solutions in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and web technologies.
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Strong experience Discovery, Service Mapping, and managing CMDB
