Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Vulnerability Management System (VMS): maintain platform and agents, conduct health checks, tune scan policies to reduce false positives, configure and schedule scans, investigate and remediate unexpected agent behavior, ensure integrations are working.
• Administer and maintain Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools: tune detection rules, ensure asset inventory is accurate, regularly update platform and agents, review and adjust security policies, conduct health checks, investigate and remediate unexpected agent behavior, troubleshoot integrations.
• Provide general support: respond to and resolve customer inquiries via ticketing system and SOC, maintain and update Remote Monitoring and Management platform and agents, accurately document customer interactions and troubleshooting steps, escalates complex issues, monitors ticket queues to meet SLAs.

• 4+ years of experience in information security with a focus on security technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex security concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Desired:
