Capital One Small Business Bank is seeking a data-driven Senior Product Manager to join our Acquisitions team. The role is accountable for the end-to-end digital acquisition and onboarding experiences across the mobile app and Capital One website, focusing on minimizing friction and maximizing conversion rates for new online accounts. You will create positive early interactions and cultivate lasting relationships with small business owners by enabling a seamless onboarding journey.
You will also lead a team of high-impact product managers to deliver value for our business and customers.
In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas.
ResponsibilitiesHuman Centered:
Define clear and actionable problem statements and apply iterative software delivery concepts, including thin-slice MVP grooming.Leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development; drive alignment between stakeholders in the development of acceptance criteria.
Obsession with UX/UI patterns to create world-class, omni-channel experiences.
Business Focused:
Own and prioritize the product roadmap to deliver business outcomes; identify points of leverage in complex problems and use data to define success metrics and measurable outcomes.Balanced judgment in decisions about risks of actions taken and not taken; iterate faster in a well-managed way for the immediate team.
Technology Driven:
Understand and leverage technology and end-state architecture vision; partner with the technology team to drive design decisions for white space technical problems.Share business strategy and roadmap with Tech partners; lead and facilitate agile ceremonies with the Tech Lead.
Deliver value by creating reusable, extensible, and resilient capabilities; proactively identify opportunities when key metrics on security, resilience, or performance are not performing.
Integrated Problem Solving:
Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes and enables effective decision-making.Transformational Leadership:
Develop and communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams with transparency on risks, and build relationships beyond the immediate team for horizontal influence.Contribute to team culture and recruiting by leading activities to attract and retain top talent and mentoring junior product associates.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following with the expectation the degree will be obtained by the start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related)
A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon hours worked. This information is for candidates hired to work within one of these locations.
