Job Summary (Workday Platform Engineer – Finance Technology) - W2 Only

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on the Workday platform, focusing on Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments, Suppliers).
• Develop and manage Workday integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Workday integration tools.
• Drive automation of functional and technical processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Finance stakeholders, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting, testing, and resolving technical and functional issues in the Workday Finance ecosystem.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for Workday Finance modules, addressing both technical and functional queries.
• Identify and propose process improvement and innovation opportunities, supporting modernization initiatives within Finance Technology.
• Stay updated on Workday platform enhancements, new features, and best practices to ensure optimal system performance and alignment with business needs.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and leverage cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) as needed.
