• Install, configure, and maintain the organization’s network.
• Build network infrastructure and maintain both external and internal access to web services while administering network environments.
• Review, plan, and evaluate network systems.
• Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to LAN and WAN environments.
• Recommend and schedule necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Provide end‑user support for all LAN‑based applications and recommend network improvements.
• Maintains documentation, project tracking, and management reporting.
• Provide tactical and strategic input for overall network planning and related initiatives.
• Analyze information security systems and applications, recommending, developing, and deploying measures to protect data from unauthorized access, modification, or loss.
• Troubleshoot network access issues and implement network security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to determine acceptable risk levels for enterprise computing platforms.

• Knowledge of IP networking, including routing, switching, load balancing, traffic optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with Cisco IOS, BGP, EIGRP, Frame Relay, ACLs, HSRP, TCP/IP, SNMP, TFTP, FTP, SFTP, SSH, Spanning Tree, NTP, TACACS, VPN, VLAN trunking, IP subnetting, and MLPPP.
• Understanding of QoS, IPSec tunnels, VPC, Nexus NX-OS, VRFs, firewalls, blade enclosure networking, Cisco WAAS (or other WAN optimization solutions), Cisco ACE (or other load balancing solutions), and wireless technologies.
• Knowledge of telephony systems, including PBX and VoIP.
