Contract: $90‑95/hr (C2C); 1‑year expected; on‑site 2‑3 days per week

About The Role:

• Architect will advise the agency on Azure architecture and security concerns, including in‑place migrations and refactoring.
• Recommend lift‑and‑shift and on‑premise‑to‑cloud‑native migrations.
• Provide Azure‑environment refactoring recommendations.
• Conduct testing to demonstrate minimal viable architecture solutions.
• Utilize Azure services such as Key Vault, Entra , Functions, Web App/App Service, containers, microservices, and serverless offerings.
• Set up and configure services to support agency objectives.
• Sign a Non‑Disclosure Agreement.

Required / Desired

Skills:

• Cloud fundamentals – 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Single and multi‑cloud strategies – 5+ years.
• Designing business‑aligned cloud solutions – 5+ years.
• Azure networking and storage architectures – 5+ years.
• Azure Key Vault and Entra  – 5+ years.
• Azure Functions, Web App/App Service, containers, microservices, and serverless architecture – 5+ years.
• Cloud security (zero‑trust, network segmentation, just‑in‑time access, conditional access) – 5+ years.
• RPO and RTO design in Azure – 5+ years.
• Professional documentation writing (position papers, architecture docs) – 5+ years.
• Cloud security posture management (vulnerability remediation, perimeter defense, encryption in transit) – 5+ years.
• Dev Ops with Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Enterprise Cloud – 5+ years.
• Data storage products (SQL Server, Oracle, Cosmos DB) – 5+ years.
• On‑premise architecture experience – 5+ years.
• Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders – 5+ years.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification (upload certificate) – 2+ years.
