The Analyst, ERP Process and Systems reports directly to the Manager, Enterprise Business Systems and is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, gathering information, communicating, training, and resolving enterprise business system related inquiries as needed to meet the expectations set forth by the Business Systems Ecosystem.

The Analyst, ERP Process and Systems reports directly to the Manager, Enterprise Business Systems and is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, gathering information, communicating, training, and resolving enterprise business system related inquiries as needed to meet the expectations set forth by the Business Systems Ecosystem.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and compile data from various operating systems sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct research to support projects and gather information on relevant ERP topics to help identify resolutions to business problems.
  • Collaborate with business end users, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements to ensure projects meet business needs.
  • Complete data cleansing and transformation as needed.
  • Prepare and create clear, concise reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Collect requirements, perform gap analysis, and evaluate against business needs.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality of IT solutions.
  • Conduct thorough user acceptance testing and solution implementation to production environments.
  • Complete and maintain business requirements documents, functional design documentation complete with specifications.
  • Develop detailed system design documents to include data models, process flows, wire frames to aid in the development process.
  • Work closely with IT development teams to ensure that IT solutions align with business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvements, optimization, and automation.
  • Conduct new hire training and new feature release support to end users.
  • Drive accountability in continuous process improvement in daily activities; continuously strive to streamline Business Central processes to become more efficient and productive and to decrease the amount of time spent on invoice processes.
  • Support and promote company core values.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools – Power BI, Excel, Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like SQL or Python.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Navision or F&O), Business Central Enterprise Resource Planning, or AX is required.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles, standards, and practices that translate to technical finance language, protocols, processes is required.
  • Strong attention to detail orientation with great analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with individuals and teams from different departments at different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to make sound independent decisions and work with little supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents, technical specifications, data flow diagrams, process documentations, technical schematics.
  • Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
  • Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
  • Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
  • Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
