Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

• Works independently on the most complex projects, at the highest technical level, of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. Formulates or defines system scope and objectives, based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results.
• Works with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments. Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts. Monitored on projects' progress and results. Errors may cause delay, expense, and disruption.

• Vendor relationships and installation/maintenance of COTS applications.
• Scripting in SQL, Power Shell, Bash.
• Problem Solving/Debugging.
• Server Maintenance.

• Self-directed and highly motivated with a positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with IT and customer teams.
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Documentation and requirements gathering.
• Strong analytical ability.

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent engineering or business-related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency required.

• Ideal background would be IT experience with another electric utility.
