We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

This multi-level Business Analyst role supports program and process improvements by analyzing data and recommending solutions to management. This role is intended to act as a liaison between business units and IT, helping identify automation opportunities and reengineer processes for efficiency. Responsibilities include defining business requirements, supporting project teams, preparing documentation, and facilitating data tracking. The role also involves developing performance metrics, ensuring data integrity, and designing dashboards to help meet business requirements and corporate strategic goals.

Additional duties include automating workflows, managing datasets, and conducting business analyses.

  • Define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements, and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics.
  • Use analytical reasoning to uncover trends, discover opportunities for improvement and design innovation solutions for business challenges.
  • Perform necessary data management procedures to prepare datasets for analysis, including data collection, cleansing, validation and storage.
  • Design, build and maintain user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate complex data through clear visualizations and intuitive layouts.
  • Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies.
  • Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature, including cost/benefit analyses.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

  • Business Technology Analyst I = 0-2 years of direct or related experience required
  • Business Technology Analyst II = 2-3 years of direct or related experience required
  • Business Technology Analyst III – 3+ years direct or related experience required
  • Data analytics experience
  • Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel, Access and SQL preferred.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx and/or Power

    BI strongly preferred.
Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s):
Business Administration, Information Systems

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description Working Conditions

Travel Up to 25%
