Job Description:Job Summary
The JDEdwards Functional O2C/SND Consultant will lead and support JD Edwards Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Supply & Demand (SND) functional processes.
This role involves managing process changes, collaborating with users to translate business requirements into JDE-specific solutions, supporting EDI integrations, analyzing system gaps, and ensuring successful system enhancements.
The consultant will perform functional analysis, testing, documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the JDE ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support JD Edwards O2C/SND processes, including procurement, inventory, and related EDI functions.
- Analyze user requirements, align them with JDE functionality, identify gaps, and coordinate solutions including customization when necessary.
- Work with JDE DMAAIs and ensure proper configuration and process alignment.
- Perform unit testing, rollout activities, and ensure successful deployment of application enhancements.
- Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient approach.
- Capture and document technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Define acceptance criteria and execute functional testing to validate business requirements.
- Conduct system analysis including frontend testing, web service testing (e.g., SOAPUI), database validation, SQL queries, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, track deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
- Create and refine internal operational process structures.
- Monitor setup, enhancement, and data migration activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and application performance improvements.
- Collaborate with senior management to support IT roadmap planning and application strategy.
- Strong functional expertise in JD Edwards Supply & Demand (SND).
- Experience supporting JD Edwards Order-to-Cash (O2C) and related procurement/inventory processes.
- Hands-on experience with JDE DMAAIs and related configurations.
- Experience gathering and analyzing user requirements and aligning them with JDE functionality.
- Ability to perform gap analysis and coordinate customization and testing activities.
- Proficiency in functional testing, unit testing, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Experience with integration and system analysis including SOAPUI/web services, SQL queries, and third-party system interaction.
- Understanding of project planning, documentation, and process design.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with automation initiatives or performance optimization in JDE environments.
- Exposure to data migration activities and process monitoring.
- Background in IT roadmap planning and consulting with leadership teams.
