Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level Solution / Application Architect to support and modernize state tax and revenue systems. This role focuses on mission‑critical legacy platforms and ongoing modernization initiatives within a public‑sector environment.
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)
Base Pay Range$85.00/hr - $90.00/hr
What We’re Looking For- Strong experience with state tax, revenue, or Department of Taxation systems
- Proven background as a Solution Architect / Application Architect
- Hands‑on experience supporting legacy systems and modernization efforts
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle preferred; DB2 / SQL Server acceptable)
- Experience working in government or public‑sector IT environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and with cross‑functional teams
- Hybrid role – onsite in Richmond, VA at least 3 days per week
