The organization values long‑term stewardship, trust, and continuous improvement. Technology plays a critical role in supporting our growth while preserving the independence of each operating company.

Position Summary

This role provides strategic guidance and cross‑company coordination, enhancing each business unit’s IT capabilities while preserving decentralized decision‑making.

The Enterprise IT Director leads enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity, and productivity initiatives while partnering with independent operating‑company IT teams. The role is hands‑on and strategic, focused on standardization where it adds value, shared solutions where appropriate, and influence‑based leadership rather than direct authority.

  • Provide strategic IT guidance and alignment without direct reporting authority.
  • Serve as a connector and facilitator across independent IT teams.
  • Support shared platforms and enterprise initiatives while respecting operating‑company autonomy.
  • Influence through partnership, collaboration, and trust— not command‑and‑control leadership.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Coordinate security initiatives and incident response across decentralized teams.
  • Oversee audits, threat monitoring, and recovery planning.
  • Lead employee cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
Technology Operations & Systems
  • Oversee performance, reliability, and security of corporate hardware, software, and networks.
  • Manage vendors, software licensing, and technology contracts.
  • Evaluate and support systems for finance, accounting, HR, property management, and operations.
  • Research and coordinate enterprise‑wide technology initiatives, including shared platforms and AI tools.
Productivity & Support
  • Improve business applications and workflows to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Provide day‑to‑day technology support to corporate teams and collaborate with operating companies as needed.
  • Support users with varying technical skill levels.
Documentation & Continuity
  • Maintain documentation for systems, access controls, procedures, and continuity planning.
  • Support long‑term resilience and institutional knowledge across the enterprise.
Candidate Profile:
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, ideally in a multi‑entity, decentralized, or professional services environment.
  • Strong experience with cybersecurity tools, policies, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting both strategic initiatives and hands‑on technology operations.
