Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Location: Richmond VA

Duration: 12 months

Interview Process: In Person

Business Analyst evaluates user requests for new or modified products. Analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Proficient in Agile practices and story writing.

• 5 years of proven working experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large projects
• Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams and other technical staff, business partners and vendors
• Able to lead requirements‑gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews and document analysis, to capture detailed business needs
• Able to accurately translate system and business requirements into epics, features and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria
• Able to write UAT test scripts and proficient in UAT testing
• Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks
• Able to track requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycle
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Visio, ADO, JIRA, Confluence and BI tools
• Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems

• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
