Network Technician

Job Description

Required to work with vendors, end users, project teams and takes direction from the SiteIT Lead to create new and support existing network solutions across the site. Evaluates new technologies working with IT architects and service providers to create standards and solutions in the infrastructure space. Understands key components, primarily of IT network, but also some server and PC devices. Capable of manufacturing system integration, including design, build and implementation of manufacturing IT network infrastructure.

This job may include knowledge of or experience with web services, database administration, midrange, personal computing, telecommunications and mobility. Pay depending on experience $30-$35/hour

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, and VoIP phones.
• Familiarity with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ability to perform server maintenance and basic networking tasks (experience with servers/networking is a plus).
