Position: LAN Administrator
Location: Richmond, Virginia 23227
Duration: 12 months
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled LAN Administrator to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support and administration, with expertise in troubleshooting, imaging, and configuring workstations. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The position includes an on‑call rotation and requires local candidates only.
Responsibilities- Provide desktop support and administration, including troubleshooting and resolving imaging issues for PCs, laptops, tough books, and tablets.
- Configure and test client workstations for access using secure token identification.
- Install and configure software, hardware, and operating systems, including Windows 11 and Office
365 products. - Support connectivity requirements such as Ethernet and TCP/IP.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot computer issues, including imaging via SCCM and handling large volumes of imaging requests.
- Support cell phones, iPads, HP printers, and OCE plotters as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing issues promptly and keeping clients informed.
- Manage workload effectively by prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure productivity and minimize downtime.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Desktop Technician/Administrator.
- Proficiency in Windows 11, Office
365 products, Outlook, Teams, and One Drive. - Experience with imaging via SCCM and troubleshooting imaging issues.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (required).
- Preference for candidates with experience as a LAN Administrator in a regulated industry.

Pay Range: $25- $27/hr w2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
