Leading Talent Acquisition & Transforming the Candidate Experience at Advan SixAdvan Six is seeking a results‑driven SAP Solution Architect for Order-to-Cash (O2C), Logistics & Warehouse Management, to join our Enterprise Platforms team under the Digital Transformation & Technology (DTT) organization. This role serves as the primary product owner for the Commercial, Logistics and Warehouse Management business units, responsible for the BUILD and RUN of SAP S/4
HANA and related applications supporting O2C, Logistics and Warehouse Management processes. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, drive digital transformation, and deliver business outcomes through robust SAP solutions. This role is critical in enabling change management, fostering a data‑driven culture, and ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance across the SAP landscape.
Technology Expertise & Leadership
- Act as the single point of contact for execution of DTT projects and support needs of the Commercial and logistics business units, working closely with DTT business partner for Commercial function.
- Represent DTT in extended functional teams, collaborating with business stakeholders and Super Users.
- Drive execution of prioritized digital transformation programs aligned with business goals.
- Foster a data‑driven culture and support change management initiatives.
SAP Application Management
- Lead BUILD and RUN activities for SAP S/4
HANA O2C and Logistics and Warehouse Management applications (handling unit management etc.), ensuring system stability and performance. - Manage incidents and problems across the SAP S/4
HANA landscape, ensuring clear communication, robust root cause analysis, and high‑quality technical resolution. - Identify and implement application management actions to optimize performance, availability, and license usage.
- Advocate for leveraging standard best practices, maintaining a clean core.
- Monitor and maintain the SAP O2C, Logistics and Warehouse Management landscape, ensuring effective batch job execution and system health.
Compliance & System Governance
- Oversee identity and access management across the SAP landscape, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley and other regulatory requirements.
- Partner with SAP project teams and AMS partners to optimize relationships and hold suppliers accountable.
- Manage application currency, including documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles for SAP O2C, Logistics and Warehouse Management applications.
- Plan and oversee upgrades for SAP S/4
HANA on RISE, ensuring clean core change management. - Ensure training materials and knowledge articles are comprehensive, concise, and regularly updated.
- Invest time in planning, discovery, and reflection to drive better decisions and outcomes.
- Identify improvement opportunities, challenge the status quo, and drive appropriate change.
- Effectively manage and mitigate risks related to SAP O2C, Logistics and Warehouse Management systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP modules supporting Order-to-Cash, Logistics and Warehouse Management (SD, TM, WM, EWM, GTS, etc.).
- Proven experience in SAP S/4
HANA implementation, support, and operations. - Strong understanding of commercial and logistics/warehouse distribution business processes and SAP integration.
- Experience in incident/problem management and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP S/4
HANA SD, TM, EWM). - Experience in chemical manufacturing or similar regulated industry.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration with non‑SAP systems.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Experience with compliance frameworks including SOX and ITGC controls.
- Commercial and logistics/warehouse management business units experience seamless SAP S/4
HANA operations with minimal disruptions. - Incidents are resolved swiftly with clear communication and effective root cause analysis.
- SAP applications are optimized for performance, availability, and cost‑efficiency.
- Digital transformation initiatives are executed successfully, delivering measurable business value.
- Training and documentation are current, relevant, and accessible to all stakeholders.
- Strong partnerships with business, IT peers, SAP, and AMS partners are maintained.
- Compliance and governance standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Continuous improvement and innovation are embedded in daily operations and strategic planning.
- Compensation range for this role is between $130,700 and $196,100
