We are seeking an experienced Cloud AWS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, including EKS and container-based technologies, along with strong skills in automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Dev Ops practices.
This role involves supporting complex projects, ensuring compliance, and driving technical standards across environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical IT infrastructure designs to support business and technical requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and ensure traceability to technical designs.
- Assess testing requirements and prepare testing strategies, implementation, and transition plans.
- Configure and manage AWS services, including EKS and container-based solutions.
- Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Packer for infrastructure provisioning and image building.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and application issues; recommend solutions to minimize system interruptions.
- Perform change and problem management using standard tools and processes.
- Participate in technical projects and provide updates and management reports as required.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and contribute to the development of departmental procedures.
- Train technical staff on software/hardware tools and ensure compliance with security and audit guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with AWS services, specifically EKS.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and source control tools (e.g., Git Lab).
- Strong experience with Terraform and other IaC technologies.
- Expertise in Ansible automation and Packer for VM image creation.
- Solid understanding of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with risk management and compliance in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and operational best practices.
- Ability to lead moderately complex projects and mentor team members.
