We are seeking a highly experienced IT Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience to support a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SAP integration project. This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week (4 hours daily with a flexible schedule). The successful candidate will analyze business processes, document requirements, and work closely with the project team to ensure seamless system integration.
The role will involve gathering business needs, creating functional specifications, testing, and supporting the project throughout its lifecycle.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Document and communicate findings to the project team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and understand needs.
- Define integration requirements and develop functional specifications for the PLM and SAP systems.
- Create and maintain documentation of business processes, system configurations, and integration workflows.
- Work with developers to ensure seamless data flow between systems (PLM and SAP).
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the integrated systems meet requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to define test scenarios and test cases.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and address concerns from stakeholders.
- Assist in project planning, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Conduct pre-project discovery activities to understand current business processes and systems.
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Create detailed process flow charts to represent current and future business processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and integration of systems and processes.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a focus on PLM/SAP integration projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and functional specifications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and SAP integration projects.
- Familiarity with tools and methodologies for system analysis, testing, and documentation.
