We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Dev Ops Engineer to drive the design, deployment, and optimization of our Dev Ops infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Red Hat Open Shift, Git Ops practices, and automation tools, and will play a key role in ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient application deployments across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing build and deployment processes across all products.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to establish engineering and deployment best practices.
- Enforce reliability and security best practices in alignment with organizational policies.
- Design and deploy new and existing application components and infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
- Troubleshoot and support production infrastructure and application issues.
- Participate in engineering design and deployment planning sessions.
- Mentor application developers on scalable application development and deployment techniques.
- Analyze and manage dependencies across multiple platforms and applications.
- Provide support for Dev Ops-based environment management (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) with controlled releases.
- Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to management.
- 4–5+ years of hands-on experience deploying applications using Helm Charts on Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform.
- 4–5+ years of experience with Git Ops practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Strong experience in Agile work environments and with source control tools like Git Lab.
- Proficiency in Ansible and other automation technologies.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes and container technologies, including container image creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Advanced knowledge of networking, security, and automated deployment practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Ability to work extended hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
