Overview
The Country Club of Virginia is seeking a motivated and hands-on Event Set-Up & Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping, Locker Room, and Banquet Set-Up teams. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional member experience by ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, well-organized, and event-ready at all times.

Schedule- This is a full-time position, approximately 35-40 hours per week, with regular weekend and holiday work required.
Help lead, schedule, and supervise staff across Housekeeping, Locker Rooms, and Banquet Set-Up
Ensure all event spaces, locker rooms, and common areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards
Assist with the setting and breakdown of table formations in correlation to BEO Diagrams
Oversee the preparation, inspection, and distribution of towels, linens, and rags
Maintain inventory levels and place orders for cleaning supplies and equipment
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all chemicals in compliance with OSHA standards
Monitor the care, cleanliness, and maintenance of departmental equipment
Partner with the Support Services Director and Manager on staff training, coaching, and performance management
Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
Support departmental budgeting and cost controls
Foster teamwork and clear communication across all club departments
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training
Step in as needed to support the team and ensure smooth daily operations
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years of supervisory or operational experience (hospitality, housekeeping, facilities, or events preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
- Valid Driver's License required
