Job Description

The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician who is a team player and enjoys providing top‑notch hospitality. Job Duties
  • Maintain properties, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools.
  • Replace AC filters.
  • Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Tend furnace, air‑conditioner, and boiler equipment and maintain other equipment with standard preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain records on all equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Maintain superior quality of appearance of interior and exterior of hotel to Hilton and Shamin standards.
  • Repair wallpaper, carpet, sheetrock, and doors of hotel.
  • Keep an orderly and well‑stocked inventory of finishing supplies.
  • Check operation of all guest room equipment.
  • Inspect and repair minor problems in common areas.
  • Learn and communicate emergency procedures.
  • Be responsible for safe operation of all equipment, chemicals, and lockout procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Eligibility

The ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible full‑time schedule. We are open 24/7/365 days a year, so you must be able to work some weekends and holidays. Limited overtime may be required on occasion as well. You must have a positive attitude and friendly demeanor and be looking for long‑term employment with room to grow with Shamin Hotels.
