Compensation $55 per hour

Speech Pathologists (SLP) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment every step of the way.

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function and deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans; collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement patient programs.
• Monitor the quality of services within the Rehab Therapy Department and participate in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.
• Assist in the development of the SLP role within programs and services, and revise departmental policies and procedures as needed.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and share professional knowledge; alert the Manager to educational needs.

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or successful completion within first 90 days of employment required.

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
