Job Summary and Qualifications Position Summary

Performs basic EEG testing, brain mapping functions, and all aspects of advanced testing and monitoring. Performs all related paperwork, assists in budgeting and cost control, and is responsible for training neurodiagnostic personnel.

  • Performs basic and advanced EEG testing and LTM
  • Performs Evoked Potential testing in both the lab and in the operating room
  • Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of test preparation for physician interpretations.
  • Is responsible for performing all aspects of paperwork for storage and retrieval of EEGs and serves as house expert on system. Must be knowledgeable of the billing process.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot all equipment problems
  • Is responsible for keeping the equipment and rooms in excellent working order
  • Is responsible for taking call for all neurological testing
  • Is responsible for day to day assignments
  • Is responsible for the documented training of neurodiagnostic personnel
  • Is a resource to the medical staff as an overseer to level of testing and an advisor of new testing modalities that may be of interest.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department
  • Compiles and reports statistics of all testing performed on a monthly basis
Qualifications you will need
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • R EEG T by ABRET
  • High School Diploma / GED
