Certified Addiction Counselor CSAC-S, CSAC, Resident in Counseling or LPC

The CSAC is a full-time therapeutic counselor in a residential substance abuse program, supervised by the Lead Counselor.

• Provides individual and group therapy, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, and family therapy coordination.
• Supervises resident assessments, monitors participation, and ensures proper documentation and quality assurance.
• Collaborates with team members, families, and external agencies to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Conducts client evaluations, modifies treatment strategies, and participates in staff meetings and program development.
• Trains and supervises interns and staff, assesses substance dependency, and administers drug screenings.
• Requires a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with 3-5 years of experience, knowledge of trauma and clinical documentation, and strong communication skills.
