• Demonstrate the ability to obtain high‑quality CT images, follow established protocols, and adjust settings as needed.
• Comply with radiation safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment, and operate the CT scanner safely.
• Perform necessary computer operations – e.g., Meditech – and ensure correct charges and physician orders.
• Provide patient care with professionalism and courtesy.
• Prepare exam rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, maintain inventory, and clean rooms.
• Assist the radiologist with medication administration, contrast agents, biopsies, and patient care.
• Review each exam for technical accuracy, position, annotation, and complete PACS verification.
• Assist the Facility System Administrator and CT supervisor with PACS cleanup.
• Maintain strict confidentiality per HIPAA policy.
• Complete and maintain required personal educational activities.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• ARRT – CT Technology Certification (within 6 months of hire).
• Vocational school graduate.
