CT Radiology Technologist – Swift Creek ER (CJW Medical Center)

- Demonstrate the ability to obtain high‑quality CT images, follow established protocols, and adjust settings as needed.
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment, and operate the CT scanner safely.
- Perform necessary computer operations – e.g., Meditech – and ensure correct charges and physician orders.
- Provide patient care with professionalism and courtesy.
- Prepare exam rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, maintain inventory, and clean rooms.
- Assist the radiologist with medication administration, contrast agents, biopsies, and patient care.
- Review each exam for technical accuracy, position, annotation, and complete PACS verification.
- Assist the Facility System Administrator and CT supervisor with PACS cleanup.
- Maintain strict confidentiality per HIPAA policy.
- Complete and maintain required personal educational activities.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
- ARRT – CT Technology Certification (within 6 months of hire).
- Vocational school graduate.
