Job Summary
Office Coordinator PRN – a position at CJW Medical Center that focuses on supporting patient care and administrative tasks on a per‑nurse basis (PRN). The role is designed for individuals who are organized, proactive, and committed to creating positive patient interactions.
Responsibilities- Ensures the satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff)
- Provides support to the staff and director
- Maintains patient schedules and medical records per facility standards
- Participates in department PI projects and promotes cost‑effective unit operations
- Demonstrates effective communication and understanding of hospital policies and procedures
- Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and department standards
- Minimum education:
high school graduate - Certification: AHA Healthcare Provider CPR
- Required experience:
3+ years in clerical or receptionist duties with intermediate computer skills - Preferred: proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word; exposure to medical terminology and at least 3 years of medical office experience
- Effective communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work independently
