Are you experienced, compassionate, and ready to lead? At CRi, we’re looking for a Direct Support Professional I to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives in their communities.

As a DSP I, you’ll go beyond basic care—you’ll mentor, advocate, and help transform lives, all while supporting a team and driving excellence.

• Lead and mentor staff during shifts
• Provide direct support based on personalized care plans
• Communicate with families, guardians, and health professionals
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and progress tracking
• Advocate for individuals at appointments and in the community
• Model professionalism and uphold CRi’s core values

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Understanding of the unique needs and challenges associated with supporting individuals with IDD
• Familiarity with the Person-Centered Planning process
• Basic computer skills for documentation, communication and training purposes
• Ability to cook and manage household tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Indoor and Outdoor program site and various community locations

• Leadership responsibilities on shifts, including overseeing progress note review, documentation completion, and delegation of tasks
• Serve as a supportive conduit for individuals and their families/guardians
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to facilitate home life meetings
