Job Summary & Qualifications

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care by managing therapy for an assigned group of patients, coordinating with physicians and the care team. The PT completes assessments, develops individualized plans and leads or directs therapeutic care to support continuous progress.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
  • Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and contribute to the total plan of care.
  • Deliver purposeful and skilled therapeutic care using procedures and techniques to produce measurable changes consistent with the physician’s plan.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside the therapy sessions.
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments and handoffs.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • LPT (Licensed Physical Therapist).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
