Job SummaryAs an MRI Tech, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning to obtain optimum imaging. You will explain the procedure to the patient, address any questions or concerns, and ensure that images meet quality standards. You will also participate in on‑call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
- Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
- Evaluate the quality of MRI procedures and determine if additional imaging is required before communicating procedure information to the radiologist.
- Participate in on‑call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Graduation from a vocational/technical school.
- ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
