The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient‑centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non‑licensed personnel. The therapist instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patients and/or caregivers. The role may rotate through clinical areas.

• Experience/expertise in inpatient rehabilitation
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
• Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy program and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
