Loan Processor

Are you an experienced, detail-oriented mortgage loan processor who can successfully aid applicants in navigating the mortgage lending process? If so, we are looking for you! We are currently seeking a skilled mortgage processor to work with the mortgage broker on our team. Borrower experience is our top priority- if you make clients happy, we want to talk!

Communicate with lender closing department and title agents to ensure timely delivery of loan document packages to closing

• Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files
• Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial
• Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval
• Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness

• Experience in mortgage loan processing, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proven track record of effectively communicating with clients, real estate agents, and underwriters.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure timely collection and verification of financial documentation.
• Familiarity with ordering and reviewing property and loan documentation, such as appraisals and title searches.
• Ability to analyze credit reports and financial documents to assess applicant creditworthiness.
• Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience required
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

$55,000 - $85,000 yearly

We are a growing boutique mortgage brokerage based in Richmond, VA and licensed in VA and FL. Our typical product mix is heavily conventional with some government and non-QM.
