A company is looking for a Senior Home Loan Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities Analyze and render home loan lending decisions in compliance with policies and guidelines Review and assess borrower documentation to determine eligibility and repayment ability Provide mentorship and support to team members while ensuring alignment with risk-tolerance standards
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred Minimum of five years of independent mortgage underwriting experience required MBA Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) and FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) designations preferred
Experience with loan origination software and AUS systems required; knowledge of Encompass preferred Knowledge of compliance requirements and established policies and procedures
