The Assistant Controller will be responsible for development and production of accurate monthly financial statements including the balance sheet, statement of activities and statement of cash flows.
They will also serve as a lead resource in the division for the budgeting process and accounting requirements of an elevated nature, to include analysis, reporting and processing of financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred, but not required.
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting/finance with progressive responsibilities and experience preparing financial reporting.
- At least 2 years of management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with complex accounting processes, month end close, financial statements, AP, budgeting, and data analysis.
- Experience with foreign currency translation is a plus.
- Support annual audits:

Responsible for provision of all reports and data required for audits. - Responsible for financial statement preparation including all footnote disclosures and obtaining audit firm sign-off.
- Lead monthly review of financial data submissions, make necessary correcting journal entries as needed and submit a final draft of monthly financial statements.
