The finance department plays a critical role in ensuring strong financial control, regulatory compliance and the delivery of accurate, timely information to support organisational planning and performance. As a Management Accountant, youll play a key role in supporting a high-profile transformation programme, contributing to initiatives designed to drive growth, enhance visitor experience and expand conservation and educational activity. Your work will make a genuine impact.

• Produce accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support decision-making
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Partner with budget holders, offering clear guidance and financial support
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and systems

• Experience in a Management Accountant/commercial accountant role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector (desirable)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong communication skills
• Competent with Excel and the ability to adapt to new financial systems
• Part-qualified or qualified Accountant preferred, but QBE will be experienced
