TAX - Programmer / Analyst 2

This is an onsite/hybrid position, requiring minimally three days per week in office

Initial interviews will be virtual, but the manager reserves the right to conduct a follow-up in person if necessary. Candidates should be aware and available for an in-person follow-up interview if requested.

The client seeks an individual to enhance and build new features for the Virginia Field Audit Compliance Tool (VFACT). This custom build tracks audit activities and caseloads conducted by Tax Field Auditors using the VFACT system.

The resource will implement new tax types such as Corporate Income Tax and other miscellaneous taxes into VFACT. They will also work on integrating VFACT with the replacement of IRMS for existing taxes like Sales and Withholding. This contractor will work under the direction of the VFACT Application Manager.

• Proficient with Angular: Required, 3+ years
• SQL and Oracle Database: Required, 3+ years
• Knowledge of REST API: Required, 2+ years
• Experience and understanding of Tax Audit work process: Highly desired, 2+ years
• Experience and understanding of Virginia Tax and Tax Administration process: Highly desired, 2+ years
