Director, Financial Management; FP&A- Card

Overview

Capital One, the largest credit card issuer, seeks finance leaders for Card FP&A. Candidates will work with the Card Business Leadership Team, the Card Finance Leadership Team, and key senior leaders across Finance disciplines such as Corporate Planning, Accounting, Balance Sheet & Capital Planning, and Corporate Development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or another quantitative discipline, or relevant military experience
• At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination
• At least 4 years of experience managing an FP&A function
• At least 3 years of people‑management experience

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A
• 5+ years managing an FP&A function
• 4+ years of people‑management experience, including direct and indirect reports

• McLean, VA: $206,000 - $235,100 – Director, Financial Management
• New York, NY: $224,800 - $256,500 – Director, Financial Management
• Richmond, VA: $187,300 - $213,700 – Director, Financial Management
• Other locations: salary determined by location and offered at the time of hire.

This role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
