Job Description
As a Civil/Structural/Architectural Designer, you will perform civil, structural, and architectural design under the direct supervision of a lead designer. You will be responsible for executing projects successfully by taking direction from the lead designer and developing a strong understanding of CAD standards.
Responsibilities- Perform civil, structural, and architectural design under the supervision of a lead designer.
- Ensure successful project execution by following lead designer instructions.
- Develop and implement CAD standards under the direction of a senior designer.
- Report directly to the Civil/Structural Department Manager.
- Collaborate with CAD operators, designers, and senior design staff.
- Possess a basic understanding of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Design.
- Understand civil and structural material specifications and construction techniques.
- Travel to sites to assist in field work within industrial environments.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Design.
- Knowledge of civil and structural material specifications and construction techniques.
- Ability to follow directions from lead designers.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Results-oriented and a team player.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree completed or in process, or completed CAD certificate program.
- Experience in an industrial chemical processing environment is a plus.
- Strong ethics and corporate loyalty.
- This role requires splitting time between the corporate office in Midlothian and client sites in Richmond, VA.
- It is an in-office role five days a week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
